As you can see, there are people who think that after 10 year, WordPress has matured to have its own certification program. Certainly, there are some people who are willing to even pay for getting such certificate. Personally, I have to admit that this type of certificates reminds me of learning a lot of knowledge by memorizing in separation from reality. In my opinion, it would be better to have a few or dozen interesting projects in portfolio based on WordPress – it would be a sufficient „certificate“ of your knowledge and skills (which can be easily verified by looking at the code).
