We now know the initial release date for WordPress 3.9
The initial publication date of WordPress 3.9 has appeared – it is 15th of April 2014. This release will probably focus mainly on enabling widgets on the personalization screen of the theme as well as on improvements to the changes originally introduced in WordPress 3.8. Of course, the date is not binding, but taking into account the recent changes in how WordPress is developed, we may be sure that if there is a delay, it won't be as long as it was with WordPress 3.6.
